The Pali Gap is a South London three-piece blending indie rock, dance, and pop. In 2023, they supported Toploader (March 2023) and Republica (November 2023) on the main stage at O2 Academy Islington, followed by a headline show at Notting Hill Arts Club in March 2024. Most recently, they opened for The Bluetones at O2 Academy Islington in March 2025. They also headlined the Far East Festival at Strongroom in May 2025.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Tom Vek, LCD Soundsystem, Nirvana, and Oasis, the band combines rhythm-driven grooves with melodic hooks.
They have worked with producer Shuta Shinoda (Hot Chip, Vampire Weekend, Ghost Poet) to refine their studio sound and deliver a tight, energetic live set. The lineup features Sanj Pali (vocals, guitar), Michael Benohr (drums), and Kyle Lapsley (bass).
More recently, they have worked with producer Grant Strang (of Silver Shark Studios) to produce a remix of their 2023 release Wasting Time. Out now as the Silver Shark Mix!
